Hi, Thank ypu so much for your Article on Installing VB6 in windows 7. I am going to buy new laptop, but I could not find a high processor compatible with XP (with XP driver), and I fail to install my Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition in windows 7.
After reading your article, I like to try again so asto install VB6 in New laptop with Windows 7 OS.
As I am using Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition, I am afraid the same method as you did would not be available. Could you tell me whether Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition would be compatible with Windows 7 as you did? When installing Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition in XP, it is written as "It is for 32 Bit".
Waiting your reply

Yes, it should work fine. Accept any 32-bit warning messages you may get. Just know that any programs you compile will be 32-bit programs, rather than 64-bit.
The error is because your new laptop contains the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Enterprise, and the OS is simply giving you a warning, encouraging you to upgrade to a 64-bit version of your software. The error can be safely ignored.
