Installing VB6 on Windows 7

Report Back to Forum Back to All Forums

About a year ago there was a very long and very useful thread on installing VB6 on Windows 7 64-bit.  I have now upgraded an old computer which had XP to Win 7 64-bit and have had a problem with this.  Any chance that you could post that thrread again?

I think the post you are looking for is:

Also - if you type VB6 into the search box up there in the upper right corner of the screen, you'll get what you need as well.

Sounds like your installation of Crystal reports may not be quite right.  You might try removing and reinstalling Crystal reports.  If you're not using Crystal Reports, simply remove the reference prior to attempting to compile your project.
