installing visual basic 6.0 on windows home premium 64 bit machine

I use windows home premium 64 bit operating system. I followed the instructions from this site but unfortunately after installing visual basic 6.0 it brought me a message saying that it has not installed succesfully so what should i do since i need the vb so much.

This happens sometimes in x64 installations. Not often, but it does happen.

I think if you check the filesystem, you'll find that it did indeed install. It'll be under the Program Files (X86) folder. Simply find the executable, and make a shortcut on your desktop.
