vb6 in windows 7 - compile error

pitters asked this question on 3/27/2012. It has been viewed 824 times, and is currently unresolved.

I installed VB6 on my 32-bit Windows 7 laptop, but when I try to run it, I get a "Compile error - Procedure declaration does not match the description or event, or procedure with the same name"
(I carried on working in XP in the VirtualBox so I could continue working)
Now I have a 64-bit Windows 7 laptop, and followed fortypoundhead's instructions . . .
I get the same error :(
Please help

Sounds like you might be referencing a control that is not installed. Have you checked that all your dependencies have been met?
