VB6 Forgets Compilation Directory

Erik asked this question on 2/6/2013. It has been viewed 648 times, and is currently unresolved.

When I use VB6 on Windows 7, vb no longer remembers the location of the directory to where I build my file. It remembers the last directory to which I build at file in any project. This means I often erroneously build project A into project B's directory. This happens on three different machines I have at work, so it's not unique to one development machine.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas how to fix it?
