When 'File and printer sharing...' is installed it allows users to make services available to other users on a network, this functionality can be disabled by changing this setting.
1. Using Regedit find the key below, if it doesn't already exist, create it.
2. Create two new DWORD values of 'NoFileSharing' and 'NoPrintSharing'.
3. Modify the values of 'NoFileSharing' and 'NoPrintSharing' to either '1' sharing disabled, or '0' sharing enabled. Both setting do not have to be the same, it is possible to have one disabled and the other enabled.
4. Exit Regedit and reboot.

Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Network]
Data Type: REG_DWORD
