Changing the OS X Screen Saver

Want to change your screen saver? Use one of OS X''s screen savers or create your own!

OS X Tiger:

  1. Click on System Preferences - Desktop & Screen Saver

  2. Click on the Screen Saver button

  3. Select a screen saver in the Screen Savers list

  4. To create your own screen saver, place the images in your Pictures Folder. You can also select the images in an existing folder by clicking on Choose Folder

OS X Panther:
  1. Click on System Preferences - Personal - Desktop & Screen Saver

  2. Click on one of the Screen Savers to select it.

  3. To create your own screen saver, place the images in your Pictures Folder. You can also select the images in an existing folder by clicking on Choose Folder

OS X Jaguar:
  1. Click on System Preferences - Screen Effects
  2. Click on one of the Screen Effects to select it
  3. To create your own screen saver, place the images in your Pictures Folder. You can also select the images in an existing folder by clicking on Configure
