You may get the following error when trying to install Windows Vista on your computer:

Error 0xC004F02A - The Software Licensing Service reported that the license is invalid.

This problem usually occurs because the BIOS of your computer is too old or has not been updated.

You can turn to the manufacturer of your computer or motherboard for an update to your BIOS.

If you can boot to Windows, you can find out who makes your BIOS by clicking Start > Run and typing msinfo32. Under System Summary there is a BIOS Version/Date area that should provide you with the information you need.
