Driver Rollback with Vista

How to roll a driver back to an older version in Windows Vista.

  1. Click the Start Orb button.

  2. Click Control Panel > System and Maintenance > Device Manager.

  3. If Prompted by the UAC, enter a password or click Continue.

  4. Double-click the device category.

  5. Double-click the device that you want to roll back.

  6. Click the Driver tab

  7. Click the Roll Back Driver button.

If this button is grayed out, there is no driver available to roll back to.
