Reset IE7 to Defaults
If Internet Explorer 7 is unstable and generally doesn't work properly, maybe it's time to start fresh. Reset it to factory default settings.
By performing these steps, Toolbars, Add-ons, Cookies, History, stored passwords and temp files will be cleared out. Favorites and Group Policy settings are not affected.
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Click Restore advanced settings.
- Click Reset, then Reset again.
