This setting controls whether fixed disk access is performed through Windows protected mode drivers or through real mode drivers and BIOS routines. If you are experiencing drive IO errors enabling this seetting may be a possible solution.

Value Name: ForceRMIO
Data Type: REG_BINARY
Data: (00 00 00 00 = protected mode, 01 00 00 00 = real mode)
