Winklevoss Meets Authorities over Silbert Fraud Allegations

Cameron Winklevoss, co-founder of the crypto platform Gemini Trust Co, recently met with FBI agents, SEC staff, and NYC prosecutors regarding his fraud claims against Barry Silbert, CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG) and its subsidiary, Genesis Global Capital, as reported by Bloomberg News.
Winklevoss has consistently accused Silbert of fraud and even demanded DCG to compensate Gemini with $1.5 billion or be sued. When the payment was not made, Gemini initiated a lawsuit. While federal officials are currently reviewing DCG and Genesis's financial activities, Silbert has not been charged and has denied the accusations, a DCG representative confirmed to Bloomberg.
