By default, Windows NT will attempt to detect the time-out on network links to determine their speed (high or low). This functionality can be disabled if Windows NT is having problems determining the speed of your llink.

Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
Value Name: SlowLinkDetectEnabled
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled)
