You can configure the thumbnail image size using the Registry Editor:
1. Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer.
2. Add a ThumbnailSize Value Name, a REG_DWORD data type, and set the data value to a number between 32 (small) and 256 (large), using the Decimal radix.
NOTE: The number should be a multiple of 16.
NOTE: To configure this for all users, use the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer key instead.
